In case you’re interested, I did a short, 2 minute long interview this afternoon with Press TV’s US desk about my article In America, Being Poor is a Criminal Offense. You can listen to the interview here. I should warn you, I used the word umm a lot and stuttered a bit, but in my defense I was nervous (it was my first ever interview!).

May 16, 2011 at 4:47 pmWell done, Rania.
Bottom line…the poor, the brown-skinned, the weakened, the frightened….and now progressing up the food chain of the privileged white middle class…FODDER FOR THE DOLLAR.
The Dogs of Predatory Capitalism are running free, released of all binds, insatiable, unrelenting, ruthless and brutal.
May 16, 2011 at 5:04 pmGreat Job Rania!
Sadly the ruthless Capitalist , elitist mentality has taken over America! ITs being ruled by oligarchs and the top 1%. This is the result of this perverted mindset!
May 24, 2011 at 1:14 amI like your RT interview on SWAT. I look forward to seeing you again on RT. I am a constitutionalist Rupublican — with long hair and an arts type. Huh? I know lots of people who think the magic word “capitalism” explains EVERYTHING. I know people (atheists) who think free market explains EVERYTHING. I disagree with them. I am anti-agressive war, anti-police state, anti-prison state but know that the illusion that “progressive” bureaucracies (backed by fake marxist theories) that can replace morality and duty (two forgotten words) only lead to Oligarchy just as surely as the pursuit of sociopathic greed does. I have no problem parising Kuchinich and Sanders and Ron Paul when they fight anti-constitutional wars. But the “progressive” theories against family and self-governance are continuing to produce lost children who drink, snort drugs who have no moral compass (whether they become Wall Street crooks or promiscuity absentee fathers who let their children ber killed by Planned Abortionhood). The left-right paradigm is false.
