Priorities: Israel vs. Food Stamps

This infographic from Institute for Middle East Understanding (IMEU) offers a revealing picture of US priorities.

The House of Representatives cut $40 billion from the food stamp program last month, which just so happens to be the same amount of money the US has promised Israel in military aid through 2027. Even as Congress endorses more and more austerity for Americans, it seems our representatives are always happy to throw buckets of money at the “Jewish and democratic” state. Just this summer, the House Armed Services Committee approved an additional $488 million funding package to Israel, not to be confused with the $3.1 billion in military aid the US had already allocated for the coming fiscal year.

Among other things (i.e. war, mass surveillance, corporate welfare, etc.), preserving Israel’s access to an endless supply of weapons is more important than preventing food insecure kids, who make up half of food stamp recipients, from going hungry.

I can only imagine why Israel is the target here. A better contrast is the $300 billion every year spent on defending Europe, Japan and Korea. It’s well past time that the US comes home and fixes problems here.

Once again we witness the spectacle of plowshares getting beaten into swords.
This government of ours spends one trillion dollars a year on fear , merely to feed
the insatiable gluttony of the military industry. Think about it….think long about it.

Bloodlust still all the rage I see. Amazing how blinded the populace is to the grief by their hand. They cannot vote for difference. So they escape in afternoon fairytales on TV.

Isn’t it depressing that only 2% (of course less than the majority of that) of the US population holds sway over our entire national policy? Everything that the jews want, they get. Yet, as we are seeing, the American people are finding it very hard to live in a country that has turned it’s back on them.

Of all the so called “allies,” Israel, is one of the most meddlesome of them all. I think it is time we cut all foreign policy to them and let’s focus on educating our young, rebuild our infrastructure, and become what were founded to be.

Israel: A Terrorist Regime, Located in the Middle East, Supported by U.S. Politicians who have made their choice to be a part of and enablers of Terrorism, Genocide, and Global Domination. We must break our ties with Israel, and Dis-Arm them of Nuclear Weapons. Israel is the Single largest threat to Humanity, and will persist in their War-Mongering and Looting of the American people until we Stop the Money Supply.
